Cabar Fèidh Bagpipe Supplies is the only piping supply shop in the highlands. We sell bagpipes, practice chanters, whistles, drums, and all manner of accessories to support your piping or drumming journey; including: reeds, bags, cases, bagpipe parts, moisture control systems, drum heads, snares, pads, apparel and more. We also maintain, repair, and set up or purchase pipes that have been too long under the bed.

Originally established in the mid 90s by Niall Matheson under the name Cabarfeidh, the shop was closed in mid 2012. Brian Yates reopened the shop later that year using the same name but the galaxy spelling.

Since then, we have expanded from our small space in the Victorian Market to a much larger space on Church St. where we now include workshop space, retail space and, importantly, teaching space where Brian and Andrew give lessons.

We strive to send customers exactly what they need, especially when it comes to reeds and reed strengths but, if you’re in the area we always encourage you to come in, bring your pipes, chanter, sticks, or pads and try before you buy. Oh, and the kettle is always on.
